Perfect Moment Monday

We seem to finally have broken winter’s barrier here in WNY. Although we really are not safe from snow until June. Today it is 80 degrees and I was able to take Luv Bug outside in his new crocs for the season after his nap. Since moving last July in I was finally able to sit in my hammock and look around at my lovely yard. We bought this house before Luv Bug came home from Korea. It is the epitome of a family, kid friendly yard. The previous owners left a swing set with sandbox, trampoline and
hammock.
We got our fence installed and Lucy is able to run around and play outside with the family now. That in itself is a dream come true. I have never seen my 6 year old dog run freely. I will post more about that later because it was truly an emotional moment to see her after the fence was put in last week.

I looked around my yard and saw a new beginning. Our first full summer as a family in our new fabulous house and yard.

  1. I’m so glad you had a perfect Monday moment. It’s nice when things all come together like that, isn’t it? And it looks like Lucy has plenty of room to run!

I grew up in central NY and I remember so clearly, after a long, cold, frozen winter, the amazingly indescribable feeling and fresh smell of the air when you stepped outside and were surrounded by warm, spring air for the first time.

    Enjoy!
