Welcome to Parenthood for Me. This is my blog about being an adoptive mom, struggling through infertility, motherhood to a 3 year old, starting and now running a national non-profit to help people build families through adoption or medical intervention.

It is great how you found your calling through adoption. I am glad your story has a happy ending/new beginning.

I continue to love your blog!!!
What an amazing journey, and congrats on your non-profit founding (I’m your newest newsletter subscriber now) 🙂 My husband and I plan on beginning the adoption process in the next few months, and we’re researching all we can about grants. I’d love to pick your brain about starting your non-profit and your background – I’ve recently found my calling as a health advocate and the idea of starting a non-profit is certainly intriguing 🙂 Would you mind if I Facebook friended you?
Happy ICLW!

I can so relate to your post below. When we decided to stop treatments, while it was a devestating decision to make, one of the emotions that I felt was relief. Relief that we’d never have to go back to the uncomfortably silent waiting room, fight back tears from all the bad news, subject myself to humiliating tests.
Best wishes.
